For my first patch collection ever, I not only wanted to create variations of commonly known sounds, but also going a step deeper and exploring more experimental sounds, that are unusual or even seem impossible to achieve on a D-50, while still being highly usable, especially for ambient music.
What I really like on the D-50 is its Ring-Mod capability, of which I made a lot of use. That may result in an extremely resonating sound, almost Wavetable like. You have to listen to believe!
For some of the patches I tried to get as much of warmth out of the D-50. Furthermore I like wide, orchestral-like soundscapes.
